Central Post #2016

On Saturday 01/27/2018 Central Police Explorer Post 2061 along with Post Advisors assisted the Texas Local Disaster Recovery Squad (TXLDRS) organization in restoring a citizen home that was affected by Hurricane Harvey. These Explorers went above and beyond in ensuring the citizen in need was assisted. Their efforts left a positive impact within the community.
We thank them for their commitment and sacrifice, and for representing the Houston Police Department Explorer Program in an impactful way.

Post Visitor to Westside Explorers

The Westside Explorers had a special visitor recently. Sam Brodie was an “Original” member of the Westside post having joined in July 2014.   He left the Post to join the Katy Volunteer Fire Department in February 2015.  He then joined the U.S. Army and is on active duty in North Carolina as a Military Policeman. Highlights of his time with the HPD Explorer Program are:

HCSO Competition – 2014
Lake Jackson – 2014
Comida Food Drive - 2014

We love when our explorers come back and visit!
